You're perhaps thinking that today's post has rather an odd title. It is, in fact, the title of a Taiwanese drama that I watched the other day.
I was a bit confused myself when first I stumbled upon it. The reason for this particular title was explained, however, fairly early on in the drama.
As you might expect, the plot has a certain level of quirkiness, mixed with many of the usual elements of typical dramas, including parental opposition, a love quadrangle, and a lot of stubbornness from the main characters, resulting in several unnecessary misunderstandings.
It was interesting how many sudden character changes Smiling Pasta contained. Characters that I initially disliked became my favourites, and vice versa. For instance, the male lead's younger brother, whom I found rather unpleasant at first, eventually became more likable, in my opinion, than the male lead.
If you're keen on Asian dramas, and want to watch something cute and somewhat facetious, I recommend this.
On a random side note, watching this drama taught me how to say "turtle" in Chinese. It also resulted in a very strong craving for pasta, so be warned.
